location of village
From bandar Serian to Jalan Tebakang Dayak and Tebakang Melayu.Our village is located between Kampung Bunan and Kampung Mongkos.The journey takes one and a half from Kuching,Sarawak and from Serian Town to our village takes 40 minutes.Kampung Mujat is not far from the boader of Indonesian.Our village has its waterfall at the mountain and we also has our damp near the village.

about village
Kampung Mujat has 2 longhouses.The first longhouse is call "Entangen Sesah".It has 20's door houses which is combined by another house and lastly it makes a long house.Here,the longhouse is occationally use to celebrate 'Hari Gawai' and 'Christmas Day'.Every year many of community comes to our village to celebrate the events.The "Entangen Sesah" is also call 'Pair of one longhouse' because it stand by itself from the another longhouse as a second longhouse.Our village has two religions.There is christians and baha'i communities.The two religions are combined to grow and develope the civilizations towards the government development on these days.
The second longhouse is call " Entangen Ambuh".It has 50's and above of door houses which is also combined by another house and makes a long house.The "Entangen Ambuh" is also call 'the very long house" because it is combined and makes a very long house from teh first longhouse.Here,the religions are baha'i and christian lived.They are very comited to development the civilizations towards the government targets.
Many of tourists came to our village to visit and meet the people and shared about the history of Kampung Mujat.Many students also came here to know the community and scenery of longhouse.The story of the history of Kampung Mujat attracted some other tourist from all over the world.The Minister of Womans and Family,Dato' Sharizat, also came here to visit our village and gave many feedbacks to our developments.They came to see how our village looks like and she is very attracted to know and spend a time to spoke towards the villagers.
Kampung Mujat is located at Jalan Mongkos,Serian,Sarawak.It is far from the town and needs 40 minutes to reach the town.From Kuching,the journey needs a half an hour to reach the village.Our village nowadays have an internet and communications line to connects to the internet.3 types of communications as CELCOM,MAXIS and DIGI are also can operated there.
The scenery of Kampung Mujat are very beautiful and it has a damp and waterfall.The water are very cold and fresh because it flows from the mountains.
Many types of fruits and foods also can be found here.For example,durians,rambutans,langsats,mangoes,starfruits and more.The famous fruit is durian and it is popular on Malaysia.
Other dance on our villageis called "Tarian Langgi,Ngajat and also Sidandut".It also perform when celebrate "Hari Gawai".This occasion was celebate on 31st,1st and 2nd of June every year.This occasion also perform "Gawai Antu"."Hari Gawai" was celebtaes by all religions from Kaum Dayak or Bidayuh and Iban.On 20th and 21st or March every year we celebrate "Hari Naw Ruz" for the Baha'i religions.On 25th of December every year we also celebrates "Christmas Day".This occasion was celebrates by Christians religion.On 31st of December every year,we also celebrates "Happy New Year".This occasion was celebrates by all religions in our village.All these occasions wiil be perform the famous dance called "Bijoget or Bitandak" which is loved by all youngster and olders.
